Operations Associate

The role of a strong Operations Assistant is imperative in the overall success of Roseville Community Charter School. This person will help set and communicate a positive tone, and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining school systems and structures.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Purchasing and Supply Management

  • Initiate and track instructional and office supply orders

  • Maintain accurate records of all orders and inventory of supply closets

  • Manage and organize inventory of supplies

  • Manage distribution of orders and supplies

  • Management of student transportation tickets

Logistics and Event Planning

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for school events, including Saturday school, implementation of afterschool program, field trips, school picture day, dental/vision day, parent meetings, registration, conferences, and orientations.

  • Develop process plans for events, as directed by Director of Operations

Student Information and Reporting

  • Coordinate/manage data analysis and reporting

  • Manage/track attendance and tardiness of students

  • Manage cash receipts and invoices for breakfast and lunch meals

Technology

  • Troubleshoot technology equipment (computer laptops, interactive whiteboards, printers)

  • Initiate and track service calls for technology equipment

Daily Operations/Special Projects

  • Assist with photocopying, mailings, data entry, filing, etc., as needed

  • Support the main office reception desk as needed

Complete other responsibilities as the School Director, Director of Operations, or School Business Administrator may request.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Strong commitment to the school’s mission and vision

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience using Power School preferred

  • Excellent technology skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Publisher, and Microsoft Word, and able to troubleshoot technology equipment (computer laptops, interactive whiteboards, printers)

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications

  • Proper English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented, with excellent organization skills

  • Ability to compose correspondence independently

  • Ability to apply policies and procedures related to assigned duties and responsibilities

  • Prior experience in urban communities preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish a plus

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Openness to feedback, willingness to take personal responsibility, and a desire to learn from others

  • Unwavering in pursuit of excellence even in the face of difficult opposition and challenge
