FOOD SERVICES HELPER

This hire will assist with gathering prepackaged meal kits, prepared vegetables, whole fruits and other food items to set up and
prepare meals that will be served to students. This is a Temporary position for a local school district. Each applicant will need
to pass a background screening once an official offer of employment is extended.

TYPICAL DUTIES

Duties for this position include the following:

• Gather items to be served for lunch and set up meals in the serving area.
• Ensures that foods are served properly and in accordance with instructions.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and serving area before, during and after meal service.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• May be designated to help count/claim meals after students have selected their lunch.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• May also perform additional non-skilled school-based duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Cleared TB Test (No more than 6 months since last reading)
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
• Food Handlers Certificate (Preferred but not required) 
• Previous experience working in a restaurant (Preferred)
• 0-3 Years experience
