This position will assist in upholding standards of student discipline and the observance of rules and procedures by students and others on a school campus.This is a Temporary position for a local school district. Each applicant will need to pass a background screening once an official offer of employment is extended.

TYPICAL DUTIES

• Patrols school corridors, locker rooms, restrooms, assembly and athletic facilities, gymnasiums, and bus-loading areas.
• Provides information to school administrators regarding causes and effects of campus and community tension.
• Gathers information and provides advice regarding gang activities.
• May direct students and others and take action, as necessary, to prevent injury to persons or damage to property.
• May work with groups authorized to be on the campus before and after school and keep the campus free of unauthorized persons.
• May deliver, set up, layout, or collect equipment and other materials.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Cleared TB Test (No more than 6 months since last reading)
• ​​​​​​​Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
• Previous experience working in security (Preferred)
• 0-3 Years experience
